Wish

Fare thee well at the wishing well
Take care though not to linger
A little girl in there dwells
Whose soul was bound in anger
A flesh born bridge twixt life and death
Cross which a wish is ferried
Lured herself beyond the ledge
To waters icy cradle
She fell and fell to rocks below
Drawn forth by glinting silver
Now there she waits in dark unrest
For prey as does a spider
